Pumpkin People: RollerCoin's Halloween harvest (Oct 27 – Nov 2)

From October 27 to November 2, RollerCoin runs Pumpkin People, a week of Halloween events with progressions, burning, a puzzle, sales and lootboxes.
Schedule
| Activity | Dates | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome to the Harvest | Oct 27 – Oct 30 | Progression |
| You’ll Fit Right In | Oct 27 – Oct 30 | Sale |
| Harvest Pyre | Oct 29 – Nov 2 | Burning |
| One of Us | Oct 30 – Nov 2 | Progression |
| Pick of the Patch | Oct 30 – Nov 1 | Puzzle |
| From Scratch | Oct 30 – Nov 1 | Sale |
| Mystery Crop | Oct 30 – Nov 2 | Lootboxes |
October 30 is the busiest day: two events start, new lootboxes arrive, and One of Us has a 50% multiplier discount.
Halloween hamsters are back
From October 28 to 31, special bundles bring back The Dracula, Plague Dancer and Baduncle. If you're just starting your collection, there are starter packs with Big Daddy, Partello and Guile.
Day by day: when the most is happening
Crossing the calendar dates, this is how many activities are open each day:
| Day | Open activities | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 27 and 28 | 2 | First progression and first sale |
| Oct 29 | 3 | Harvest Pyre burning opens |
| Oct 30 | 7 | Busiest day: everything open at once |
| Oct 31 and Nov 1 | 5 | Last chance for the puzzle and From Scratch |
| Nov 2 | 3 | End of burning, One of Us and the lootboxes |
If you have little time, prioritize October 30 to November 1. The last day is for closing goals, not for starting from zero.
The multiplier discount in practice
In One of Us, the 50% discount cuts in half what you pay to raise the multiplier. Since the multiplier applies to all later purchases, it should come before spending. To see if it pays off, simulate two scenarios in the progression calculator: with your current multiplier and with the higher one, adding the cost of raising it.
Harvest Pyre: how to decide
The burn stays open until November 2. Before burning, calculate the points per Eh/s of each item and start with idle racks and copies without bonus. The steps are in the burn guide, and the calculator's Burn tab builds the combination that loses the least power.
What to do before the season changes
Pumpkin People ends on November 2, one day before the Roller Vice season starts on November 3. A few things deserve attention at this turn:
- Use event resources that expire. In the Grand Building, Lunch Boxes expire at the end.
- Claim rewards from events that need manual claiming, such as the BuildPass.
- Keep space in your room: new miners may change the best combination.
RollTheCal tips
- Discounted progression: if you're raising your multiplier in One of Us, do it during the 50% discount. Then use the progression calculator to see how many purchases you need for the tier you want.
- Burning (Harvest Pyre): burn copies and miners without bonus first. Protect unique miners with bonus: losing their bonus usually costs more power than it seems. See why copies don't add bonus.
- Won a miner? Test it in the simulator before placing it, so you don't move up a league by accident. Place it only after removing the miners from the previous step: the league bar keeps the highest power you've ever had.
- Follow the time left on each event on the News page.
