Progression event calculator
In RollerCoin's progression event, every RLT you spend turns into points, and your multiplier boosts those points. Enter your goal and the price of what you'll buy: the calculator shows how many purchases and how much RLT you still need.
Values are saved only in your browser. Check in the game how many points one purchase gives before spending.
How the math works
Points per purchase = price in RLT × points per RLT × multiplier
Purchases needed = (goal − points you already have) ÷ points per purchase, rounded up
RLT needed = purchases × price
The result always rounds up: you can't buy half a box, and being one point short is the same as not getting there.
Worked example
A goal of 218 million points, 1.99 RLT boxes, 1,000 points per RLT and a 114x multiplier:
| Step | Math | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Base points per box | 1.99 × 1,000 | 1,990 |
| Points per box at 114x | 1,990 × 114 | 226,860 |
| Boxes | 218,000,000 ÷ 226,860 = 960.9 | 961 boxes |
| RLT | 961 × 1.99 | 1,912.39 RLT |
At 115x it would be 953 boxes (1,896.47 RLT); at 120x, 913 boxes (1,816.87 RLT). Each extra point of multiplier saves about 16 to 18 RLT for this goal.
Tips to spend less
- Raise your multiplier before buying. It applies to every purchase after that, so the earlier the better.
- Subtract what you already have. Enter your current points in the field above: the difference can be big near the end of the event.
- Check whether the reward is worth it. Compare the RLT spent with the value of the tier prize you want. Sometimes stopping one tier earlier is the best deal.
- Mind your league. If the prize is a miner, test it in the room simulator before placing it: it may push you to the next league by accident.
FAQ
Does the multiplier apply to the whole price?
In the math above, yes: the base points of each RLT are multiplied. If the game shows a different value per purchase, use the “Points per 1 RLT” field to adjust until it matches what the game shows.
How do I find the points per RLT?
Make a small purchase and see how much the event bar went up. Divide by the RLT spent and by the multiplier: that's the base value.
Does it work for other events?
It works for any event where points come from RLT spent with a multiplier.
