Freon, games and temporary power: what counts for your league

It's common to see RollerCoin's “Total” go above the league limit without the player moving up. That happens because part of your power is used for mining but doesn't count for the league. Understanding the difference avoids scares and miscalculations.
Two different numbers
The game's League page shows two values:
- My Current Power: your power right now, including everything temporary. This is what mines.
- My Max Power: the record of your fixed power, without the temporary parts. This is what decides your league.
What counts for the league
League power = miners × (1 + miner bonus) + rack bonus
That's it: the miners in your room, their bonus % (without counting copies) and the rack bonus.
What doesn't count for the league
| Source | Does it mine? | Counts for the league? |
|---|---|---|
| Freon | Yes: adds an extra % while active | No |
| Games power (mini-games) | Yes, for a while | No |
| Temporary power (“Bonus power ends in…”) | Yes, until it ends | No |
| Event bonuses and boosts | Yes, while they last | No |
A real example
In a Platinum II room (100 Eh/s limit):
- the game's Total showed about 101.46 Eh/s, above the limit;
- the league record showed 99.99 Eh/s, below the limit.
The difference came from Freon (about 11% extra), games power, temporary power and a 1% event bonus. None of it counts for the league, so the player stayed in Platinum II.
And for mining?
For block rewards, the game uses your current power with everything included. So Freon, games and temporary power increase how much you mine, even without changing your league. Use them whenever you can.
How RollTheCal separates this
- In the Summary, “Where your power comes from” marks each part as counts or doesn't count for the league.
- The Bonus box separates miner bonus, Freon and temporary bonus.
- The optimizer uses only what counts for the league, so the result matches the game's league bar.
- Earnings uses your total power (with Freon, games and temporary), because that's what mines.
