How power and bonus work in RollerCoin

In RollerCoin, your mining power isn't just the sum of your miners. It comes from three parts, and one of them (the bonus %) multiplies everything else. Understanding this formula is what separates players who build their room by guessing from those who get the most out of every miner.
The three parts of your power
- Miner power: the total power of every miner placed in the racks of your room.
- Miner bonus %: each miner has a bonus in %. Adding up the bonuses of the different miners gives you a percentage that multiplies your miner power.
- Rack bonus: each rack has its own bonus (for example +3% or +7%) that applies only to the miners inside it.
The formula
League power = miner power × (1 + bonus %) + rack bonus
The rack bonus is calculated miner by miner: each miner's power × the bonus of the rack it sits in.
A real example
This is a real Platinum II room, checked against the game's league bar:
| Part | Value |
|---|---|
| Miner power | 18,020.26 Ph/s |
| Miner bonus | 450.29% |
| Rack bonus | 829.88 Ph/s |
| League power | 18,020.26 × 5.5029 + 829.88 = 99,993.5 Ph/s (99.9935 Eh/s) |
The record shown on the game's league bar was exactly 99.9935 Eh/s. The math matches to the last digit.
Why the bonus matters so much
In the example, the 450.29% bonus turns every 1 Ph/s of miner into about 5.5 Ph/s in total. And every extra 1% of bonus adds 1% of your miner power, about 180 Ph/s in this room.
Copies don't add bonus
Each miner's bonus % counts only once. If you have two identical miners (same model and same level) in your room, the second one adds only its power, not its bonus. That's why it pays to have different miners in the room and to store copies when space is tight.
What doesn't count for the league
The “Total” the game shows at the top includes things that don't count to decide your league:
- Freon, which boosts your power while it's active;
- games power (mini-games);
- temporary power and event or boost bonuses.
All of them help you mine more, but the league only uses the formula above: miners, miner bonus and racks.
Racks: where to place each miner
Since a rack's bonus applies only to the miners inside it, your strongest miners should sit in the racks with the highest bonus. Moving a 5 Eh/s miner from a +3% rack to a +5% rack adds 100 Ph/s without buying anything.
How the calculator uses this
RollTheCal runs this formula with your public profile data. In the Summary tab you see your league power, your bonus and how much each 1% of it is worth. In the Room & Simulator tab, every miner you remove, move or place immediately shows the new power, counting bonus, copies and racks.
