Miner merge in RollerCoin: what each level gives you

Many RollerCoin miners can be merged into higher-level versions. Each level raises power and bonus, but not in the same proportion. This guide shows, with real miners, what each level gives and when merging pays off.

What the numbers show
- Power grows a lot at each level. Pixel-Boss goes from 65 Ph/s at level 0 to 5 Eh/s at level 4: almost 77 times more.
- The bonus goes up too, and sometimes it's worth more than the power. A level 3 Smoke Rack has only 200 Ph/s, but 45% bonus.
- Weak miners with a high bonus are great for players close to their league limit: they add a lot of bonus without pushing raw power up.
Why the bonus matters so much
Each unique miner's bonus multiplies the power of all the miners in your room. In a room with 17 Eh/s of miners, 1% of bonus is worth about 170 Ph/s. So the 45% of a level 3 Smoke Rack is worth, in that room, much more than its own 200 Ph/s.
But watch out: the bonus of the same miner counts only once. Two identical Smoke Racks (same level) don't add up to 90%. Learn why in Miner copies don't add bonus. Different levels of the same miner, however, count as different miners: in the example room, Smoke Rack levels 1, 2 and 3 add 15% + 30% + 45%.
When merging pays off
- You have idle copies. Identical copies don't add bonus; merging turns miners that weren't helping into one that does.
- You're short on space. A high-level miner takes the same space as a level 0 one, with much more power and bonus.
- You want to move up a league. The power jump at high levels is big. If your plan is not to move up, test it in the simulator first.
How to see this for your miners
Analyze your profile on RollTheCal and open the Miners tab: it shows each miner's power, bonus and league value, and marks the copies that don't add bonus.
